I came home in a huff. I couldn't believe my best friend, Sheena going on and on about Sterling Knight, being so fine and talented. I hated him. Once of courtesy, I typed in Sterling Knight on Youtube and watched his music video Starstruck. I couldn't decided what was more annoying hearing Sheena's obbession over him or seeing Mr. All Star trying to make it big on Disney Channel. Whatever, he wasn't going to touch my heart.
Chapter 1:
It was summer and for the past six weeks, I'd been locked up inside my house. I wasn't grounded for doing anything rebellious. I just simply was in pain. My parents were ruining my life by getting a new job in Hollywood, California. Dad had gotten a job as a talent agent or something under those lines. I never seemed to pay much attention to his new career. It was the last day until moving day, my mom was gone for the day and I was alone with my dad. Around 1 in the afternoon he called me down.
"Mariah, we're having a vistor over. It's going to be the person I'm going to be working for."
I stared at him confused, and repiled, "And your job is...?"
Father glared at me. "My job is to be our guest's manager. Seeming he fired his last.."
I turned around and rolled my eyes. I thought. Why, why is this happening to me?
It was 7 at night, I decided he or she wasn't coming. I grabbed my black leather jacket and headed straight for the door, but came to a hault when father asked where I was going.
I'd reply, "Out to hang with Sheena." "No your not! Your mom is coming home from the airport with our guest. I want you here to meet him." "Can I at least go and hang for a few mintues outside close to the house?"
Father glared at me, and with that I stopped asking. Than the front door opened, and mom was home with our guest of honor.
Chapter 2:
Mom shouted at me to make sure the table was set, I assured it was. Father handed me a basket of bread, and I headed for the dinning room, with father following behind me. I set the basket down not seeing my guest. He than came from my dad's office. And surely enough their he was... Mr. All Star He wore a tux, black slacks, and black dress shoes. His hair was dirty blond, neat and straight. He had blue eyes that looked as light as the sky. He began to smiled at me as my dad introduced me to "Him".
"Mariah, this is Sterling Knight. Sterling, this is my daughter Mariah." Said Dad.
He held out a hand, and said, "Nice to meet you, Mariah." I crossed my arms. "Wish I could say the same to you." I rolled my eyes.
I could see my mother giving me the "Be nice" look, but how could I be nice to some jerk whose making me move far away from Sheena.
Sterling put his hand down, but his smile remained the same. "So, what's for dinner, Ms. and Mr. Carter?"
