Today's my dad's 52nd birthday. cake.gif Mom and I, naturally, are throwing a miniature par-tay. I'll be featured playing "Happy Birthday" on the clarinet.

Okay, this was an OSSUM day! One of my best days ever x] And I have to tell this to you guys!

So, I collect Hannah Montana-cards. I bought one pack once, then I got addicted, wanted more and I started to collect. So I went a few times to the store, and the girl who worked there started to know me xD I mean... HM is [in Holland at least] a childrens-show. So every time I bought a few packs, she laughed and stuff. Today I went to the store to buy 5 packs. So I wanted to pay, and the girl said;
'How many packages are still there?"
'Hm... Well, quite a lot, actually."
"Well, we have to lose them. Maybe for a nice price you can take them all.'
me: "O_________O Well, uhm.. What's a nice price, then?'
I thought: She will probably say 8 euro's, and I don't have that much money with me.
'Uhm.. We can make it 3 euro's.'
Me; O_______________O (again xD) "Uhm, yeah, that's awesome!'
So, right now.. I got 25 packages of Hannah Montana-cards, they're worth €12,50 and I got them for €3,00!
And now my collection... IS COMPLETE! :D

I had to share this with you. Me and my two best friends walked out of the store just smiling, and when we were outside, I freaked out XD
I mean, seriously, HOW AWESOME IS THIS? 8D

We got our computer back a few days ago. Freakishly enough, there were TWO VIRUSES IN IT AT THE SAME TIME! When I heard that, I'm just like, "Dude...! Is that even possible?!" lol

My dad's convinced that MySpace might have infected it, but mom and I have never gotten pop-ups or any other kind of crap that could have infected it from MS. He's also brought up this forum, but same goes: no pop-ups... So how the viruses got into it is still a mystery. *turns around* Hey, Nancy! Yes, you, Nancy Drew! lol

Hey Brittani, virus' first of all will always come with the internet, it doesn't matter where you go, it just happens, however i suggest mozilla firefox. It comes with less virus'

I just kinda figured that pop-ups provided (shall we say?) an "easier" way into the computer...  But I guess I stand corrected.

It does, but as long as your not visiting the links, clicking the ads you'll be ok.
To maybe lessen the amount of virus' or pop ups go to:
Tools
Internet options
Security, make sure "internet" is highlighted and set medium-high or higher.
Privacy, Medium high or higher, and you should get rid of most of them
Hope that helps

Okay. So I thought I had two really great friends, but now they're kinda dissapointing me. They're writing a song about that they are best friends and love eachother very much. They made a picture of them together with the lyrics of Hannah Montana - True Friend below it. And we always said that IF the Jonas Brothers would come to Holland, we would go together. Now they are coming, and I'm not allowed to go with them anymore. Weeeeeeeeeeird.

Well, I still have J. He's really the best friend you could ever wish for. A week ago he had this very big fight with his parents, and he came to my house.
"Can we please go to your room?"
I was like: "Okay."
And then when we were on my room, he started crying. It was soooo sad! We hang out every weekend, at school and... He's just the best.

Wow, why am I telling this? I'm just bored xD He just left, and now I don't know what to doooo xD

I know what that's like!  My BFF since pre-K moved away after third grade and it felt like the end of the world for me...  To make things worse, I was almost socially challenged.  (being a "teacher's pet" was kind of the kiss of death haha)

Aww, both of your stories are sad. It stinks when a best friend moves away or leaves. But, there are always new people to meet in life and when one person leaves, its a place for many more people to enter your life. =] I always think things happen for a reason, ya know?

Okay, so I just wanna say something xD
Time-difference is a weird thing!
Like.. When it's 5pm here (In Holland) it's... 8am in L.A.!
So... when my day ends, your day begins! Oe, oe, oe... Tell me where you guys live! Then I'm saying what's our time difference.
Yeah, I'm bored.

Okay, so now they said to another friend that they're happy that I'm going out of this class next year o_o It's probably because they're jealous because there are more people besides them where I hang out with...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Okay, yesterday was the best day EVER!
Happy thing no. 1: I had a blast during economics xD

Happy thing no. 2: I had to do a science-test alone in the hallway [because when the test was planned, I was sick] and I was soooo nervous! But it went... well, it didn't went that well, but I don't have to worry about making it no more x]

Happy thing no. 3: My friend's graunded and I went to his house yesterday. We had a lot of fun. His little sister still believes in Santa Claus. And on the news was that an old man turned 107, and he's the oldest man of Holland. And then his little sister said: "He's not the oldest man, that's Santa Claus! He's almost 1000!" That was soooo cute! And I called to his [almost] boyfriend, and he seems nice. And then my friend started to dance shirtless in his room on Britney Spears-music xD

BEST THING EVER: I bought a Mitchel Musso poster from Popstar on Marktplaats (Dutch eBay). So I received it today, very happy. So I mailed the woman I bought it from;
"I received the poster and I'm very happy with it! When you have more things of Mitchel Musso, mail me, please."
So I was talking with my friends on MSN, and then *ploing* Mail of that woman. So I thought; "She'll probably say that she will mail me if she has more." I WAS SO WRONG! The real mail was:
"Hee Nienke,
For Mitchel Musso you are at the right girl! I have 6 posters of him from Indonesia. €6,- if you take them all, I'll take the costs for sending them."

I was like: O_____________O. 6 euros is like.. 8 dollar.
So I'm very happy now xD

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY 8D

Wow. Something terrible happened today. You won't mind if I tell it, right?

So, in Holland we have Queensday. The mother of our queen, it's her birthday today. We have it every year. The whole royal family goes to a city, shakes hand with everyone and.. it's very nice. Everyone's dressed in orange.

So this year, it was in Apeldoorn. My sister went there with her boyfriend. Me and my parents were watchin TV and all of a sudden a damaged car drives across the road, trough the crowd and hits a statue. People were lying on the road, not moving, covered in blood. It's probably an action from terrorists, or something. Because it was IMPOSSIBLE to come at that road by car. When that car came 20 seconds earlier, it would hit the bus with the royal family in it. You do the math. It must've drove trough the fences [that's why it was already damaged]. Already 2 people died, 23 people are hurt, 6 people are in great danger.

Now the thing is.. my mom told my sister yesterday: 'When you go to Apeldoorn, go to the statue! You'll see the royal family in the bus!" Thank God she didn't listen!

Things like this make my 'little' worries, problems, fights so useless and stupid! It really makes me appriciate life more. I'm shocked.

Look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qz7Y1CHbvo

I'm shocked. Queensday used to be so happy and fun, and now it's so sad.

Can I just say that cover songs rock? I really enjoy listening to people cover current songs. It's cool to see how they put their own spin on it, you know?

i agree but then disagree XD
some people can cover songs and do it well. then others just fail XD
like..-thinks-
Avril Lavigne covered John Lennon's Imagine...and it was horrible.
actually any song she covers is pretty bad o-o [i just remembered she covered Basket Case awhile back...man she was off key SO many times. and got the lyrics wrong..it wasnt pretty]
but um...Jack Johnson covered Imagine as well...His cover was AMAZING.
John Lennon is a person you cant really cover XD

it's nice to hear cover songs but half the time i cant get through the whole song lol

Yeah, that's true.  When someone covers a song they need to do it RIGHT.  Or else it just sounds like crap... no.gif

Okay, this is reeeeeeeaaaaaalllyy random, but I noticed something today while listening to Mitchel's CD. If you listen carefully to "Odd Man Out", the intro sounds kinda similar to "The In Crowd". It just sounds a little bit lower.

Has anyone else thought that? (or am I crazy? lol)
